Robert Morgan to Run for Plymouth Selectman

Plymouth, MA: January 16, 2012. Robert Morgan announced plans today to run for Plymouth Selectman. Morgan, 48, of West Plymouth had been considering a run for State Representative for the 12th Plymouth District. “I have a tremendous amount of respect for Bill Hallisey and the job he has done for our community. With the opening of this seat on the Board of Selectman it would allow me to give back to Plymouth in a new capacity and afford me the opportunity to focus entirely on this community. I won’t rule out a run for State Representative in the future when my son is a little older.”

Morgan, is the current Vice-Chair of the Plymouth School Committee (term ends in May 2012), former elected Town Meeting Representative for Precinct 11 and former West Plymouth Steering Committee Member and served as Chair from 2008 to 2011.
